 In the first race (GTU), Tony found himself in ninth place coming out of TURN 1. Knowing there was plenty of time, he put his head down and tried to keep the leaders in sight. There was a lot of bar banging going on, and one rider high sided right over the back of his bike as Tony was making an outside pass in TURN 9. Tony moved up as high as second place at one point, but a badly blistered tire forced him to slow down, and he settled for a third.

 In his second race (HW SuperBike), Tony got a better start, and pretty much ran in second place the entire race. Since he was on a 600cc machine while the leader was on a Ducati 916, Tony was happy just to be able to hang with the much more powerful machine.

 In his final race of the weekend (Unlimited SuperSport), Tony knew that the start would be all important. Once again he was up against faster machines, so he was hoping to get out in front and make himself very wide. Unfortunately, Tony ended up in third coming out of TURN 1, and stayed there for 5 laps. The race was shortened to 6 laps, and on the last lap, the riders in 1st and 2nd both went down in TURN 11! After a quick look back to make sure no one else was coming, Tony cruised around the last lap and took his only WIN of the weekend.

 Of the 8 dry races this year, Tony has finished in the TOP 3 every time!
