How to Configure Outlook Express 6.0 to Send and Receive SAMnet Email 

1. Open Outlook Express.  

   

2. From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.  

   Note: If this is the first time configuring or using Outlook Express, the Internet Connection Wizard will start. If the Wizard starts, please skip to step 4. 

   

3. Click the Add button and choose Mail.  

   

4. In the Display name field, type your full name. Click the Next button.  

   

5. In the E-mail address field, type your email address (username@samnet.net). Click the Next button.  

   

6. Click the down arrow on the My incoming mail is a ___ server drop-down list and choose POP3 from the list.  
   1. In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: field, type pop3.samnet.net
   2. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field, type smtp.samnet.net
   3. Click the Next button.

   

7. In the Account name field, type your username, which is the part of your email address before the @ sign.  
   1. In the Password field, type your email password.
   2. Check the box next to Remember password (if you don't want to type your password every time you check E-Mail)
   3. Click the Next button.

   

8. Click the Finish button.  

   

9. Click the Close button.
