How to Change the Access Number in Dial-Up Networking
  1. Double-click the My Computer icon.

  2. Double-click the Dial-Up Networking icon.

  3. Click the connection icon with the right mouse button, then choose Properties.

  4. In the Phone Number field, type the new access number.
  5. Click the OK button.

    Note: Remember to check with your local telephone company to make sure that the number you choose is a local toll-free call.

     

    The Dial-Up Networking connection is now configured with the new access number.
