Support - Dial-Up/E-mail for XP

Setting up your Internet connection through SAMnet using Windows XP is simple and painless. Just follow these easy steps and you'll be on your way.
 


Click on "Start". When the menu pops up, click on "Run...". Inside the dialog box, type in "inetwiz" and click "OK".

 

 


Once the Internet Connection Wizard launches, click on "Next" to begin the setup process.


In the first screen, select the "Connect to the Internet" option and click "Next".


On the next screen, click on "Set up my connection manually" and click "Next".


Type your local access number into this field and click "Next". If you do not know your access number, click
here to find one.


Type your username and password into the fields on this screen. Be sure you type your password twice to verify it. Click "Next" when you're done.


In this screen, type "SAMnet" into the "ISP Name" field and click "Next".


In this final screen, click "Finish" to save the connection. You may also opt to check the checkbox here to place a shortcut on your desktop.
