Mail Authentication

If you are accessing our mail server through a SAMnet DSL or the SAMnet National Numbers, you will need to configure an extra mail setting for authentication.

  • Open Outlook Express. 
  • Go to Tools then Accounts.    
  • Select the mail account you want to modify, then click the Properties button.    
  • Click on the Server tab.    
  • Put a check mark in the box labeled "My server requires authentication".    
  • Click on the Settings button.    
  • There should be a black dot next to "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server".    
  • Click Ok.    
  • Click Ok again.    
  • Click Close

You should be able to send and receive mail now.  If you have problems or get an error message, try the following:

  • Open Outlook Express. 
  • Go to Tools then Accounts.    
  • Select the mail account you want to modify, then click the Properties button.    
  • Click on the Server Tab.   
  • Change the OUTGOING Mail Server name to mail.pageblvd.com  
  • Hit Apply and then Close and try again.
